Candle in a Jam Jar is a collection of songs Jan has written over the years. Many of the songs are inspired by Bristol and The Forest of Dean. Candle in a Jam Jar tells the story of her Day who lighted the way through The Forest for his mum and six other children as she went to sing to collect money for sick miners while his Dad still worked below ground
After the storm is Jan's latest album and reflects her great love of Cornwall, its landscape and its people. After the Storm tells the story of the decline of the fishing industry, while Copper and Tin looks at the mining industry in Cornwall. The Bold Engineer is a whimsical tribute to Cornwall's most famous engineer Richard Trevithick
